Short Shifter NG900/9-3 94-02/9-5 (Outright Kit)

Taliaferro short shifter for NG900 94-98, 9-3 99-02 and 9-5 99-09

Short throw shifter kit developed to reduce shift throws and improve shifter precision. Replaces the factory plastic and spring pars with a custom designed spherical bearing. This custom bearing allows enough angular movement of the shaft to eliminate binding at the extents of travel. Throw is reduced from 5in to 3-3/8 inches. The Knob height is unchanged as is the reverse lift up etc. Supplied with an easily adjustable 5th/rev guide plate. This enables quick and painless fine tuning of that function. Supplied as a new replacement shifter rod and bearing assy. You reuse your existing Knob, boot etc. Normally requires no under-hood adjustments on install even!  It is recommended for best experience to be used with the Taliaferro transmission mount for best shifting. This is a kit with new shift rod and will require modifying your shifter base. Works with RHD cars too.
